Vertu
ascent is the next generation of Ascent handsets, called Vertu Ascent Ti
collection. The Vertu Ascent Ti was designed and made in England and its
design and material seems to be highly inspired by high-performance Ferrari
sports car having masculine looks. The phone silhouette follows the clean, sculpted
curves of a powerful car; chronograph and offset illumination of the keypad echo
precision emulates dashboard instruments.
Even the Name
‘Ti’ has been encouraged by High Performance Titanium, generally of what sports
car engines made up of. The mobile phones of this series are said to
have sustain rigorous tests of every aspect starting from sound quality to
extreme robustness.
Frank
Nuovo, Vertu Principal Designer, comments, “From the start the Vertu Ascent has
been heavily influenced by the power, energy, and sheer precision of a
beautiful car. With the Vertu Ascent Ti, this vision has been developed further
using the high grade materials, design detail, technical superiority and
unsurpassed performance associated with the luxury sports car industry. The
result is a highly crafted handset of precision, balance and strength.”
This is a
3G handset operating on quad band, has 3 mega pixel flash VGA camera. It is
available in three colour combinations, black leather with black a ceramic
pillow, red leather with a black ceramic pillow and brown with a silver ceramic
pillow.
The phone
is damn good from the security aspect having enabled the ‘Vertu Fortress’
technology. If unfortunately your Ascent Ti is stolen or misplaced, you can
procure and re-install the data to the new handset. ‘Vertu Fortress’ technology
makes a data warehouse of contacts and calendar, notes and other data on high
security server maintained in an ex-military bunker at a secure location in the
English countryside. Also, you can visit the company’s website to have access to
your private data through a personal account.

Guess who
will be the happiest ever to witness the wedding occasion of Nokia and Bruce
lee, of course the Nokia and Martial art fans. The marriage of both the
legendary player in itself is a historic event. Nokia publicised the whole
thing via video clip preview named “Bruce Lee’s secret training video”.
Actually the 10-second clip featured Bruce Lee look alike playing ping pong
with a pair of nunchaku in the internet few weeks ago at that time there were
no clues about it, however the secret is finally revealed. The entire clip is a
promotional ad for Nokia N96 Bruce Lee Limited edition phone, is shown complete.
Well we
can really predict the consequences of A Kung Fu Master and Nokia association,
no conjectures on chemistry. While talking about the look of new Nokia Bruce
lee 96, we would like to tell you that the limited edition phone contains Bruce
Lee’s face and signature on the back case. Also the phone is accented with some
rare photos of legendary Kung Fu artist. Additionally some accessories are also
supplemented with the phone and a Bruce Lee figurine which is pretty elegant
and nice.
This Nokia
N96 Bruce Lee limited edition would cost you about 8,788 Chinese yuan or
US$1,286. The Chinese fan can order it from Chinese Nokia site.

Another
bling pair of headphones worth £3,500 $5,150 has hit the Belgium market.
The market is really pacing up for headphones All of a sudden, headphones from
the likes of Ultimate Ears and Sure don’t seem expensive at all.
What
makes this pair so expensive? It’s made from 18 karat gold and has 118 diamonds
sprinkled all over. (Again, diamonds are evil.) Also, the headphones are
Belgian, created by “top jeweller” Casa Gi. That adds a few quid to the price,
no doubt.
Keeping
with the shiny things metaphors, the Telegraph says the headphones “give a
crystal clear sound.” They damn well better for that kind of money. Naturally,
the headphones are intended for sports stars or “actors,” people paid
extraordinary amounts of money to play make-believe in front of a camera
We've
come across a wide array of headphones. But in all our sound journeys as
audiophiles, never have we come across a pair of earphones that is more 'pimped
out' than this one. The device is made from 18 carat gold, encrusted with 118
of the highest quality diamonds and the sound you get is stunning. The 59
diamonds gracing the earphone are individually set in gold. This gives a lovely
shimmer, sparkly effect. The makers say that the earphones are very
comfortable, despite all the weight the bling adds. The earphones have a white
wire with a standard jack that fits into most MP3 players and computers.
Richard Slack, managing director for the firm, said: "We were first shown
these earphones by a client at an Aston Martin show and our initial reaction
was 'wow'."As well as looking fantastic, the sound quality is also very
good. We have the only pair of Casa Gi earphones in the UK and they are
currently in pride of place in our shop window. They are attracting a lot of
attention but as of yet we haven't found a buyer. I think they are aimed at
fairly extrovert people, maybe a sports star or someone in the acting
profession - they are the ultimate in bling."
The magnificent
earphones are made by the famous jeweller Casa Gi in Belgium. They are for sale in Bristol at Clive Ranger jewellery
shop for $5,180.
